Texas Hold ’Em Tournament

Each year we offer a Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament in the Stanwood area. This event has become a popular attraction for many local card players. Dinner is always provided and you have an opportunity to win prizes and raffles throughout the night. With more than 70 participants, the atmosphere is always exciting and the final table’s take is generous.

Double Eagles for Davis

The annual Double Eagles for Davis golf tournament is held at Camaloch Golf Course on Camano Island, Washington on or around Davis’ birthday in September. We routinely have over 120 participants who compete against each other in three different flights based on the relative skill level of each foursome. Opportunities to win prizes are presented on every hole of this shotgun start with contests like Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Closest to the 100 Yard Marker, etc.

Whether you are a hack, a club pro, or somewhere in–between, we would love to see you on the links at the next tournament. You can sign up here and see past winners. Bring your friends!

We happily accept hole and event sponsors!

Hoops for Davis

Hoops for Davis is a basketball jamboree and silent auction held each March at Stanwood High School in Stanwood, Washington. We are so happy to announce that we have had as many as 1000 participants at this event!

Basketball games such as firemen vs. policemen, high school staff vs. middle school staff, young alumni vs. old alumni and juniors vs. seniors are played through the evening. At the same time, everyone is invited to bid on numerous silent auction items donated by members of the community, local businesses and sports franchises. Entrance to the event is free so the casual atmosphere and basketball games make this an ideal activity for families.

If you have an item that you think would be great for the silent auction, please contact us.

23 Days for Davis (2007)

In 2007 Davis' dad, Garry Carlson, biked a total of 1,310 miles from Davis Slough, which separates Stanwood and Camano Island, Washington to the town of Davis, South Dakota in 23 Days. Here is the story of his journey and what it meant to him.
